THANK YOU to all families who were able to donate to the 12 Days of Giving! The Elmvale & District Food Bank is always blown away by the generosity of the Forest Hill community.

SAVE THE DATE!  Forest Hill will be having a fundraising night at Wendy’s on January 24th starting at 4 pm.  Monies raised from this fundraiser will support school improvements such as increased shelving in the library for decodable books and adding bulletin boards in the halls to display student work. Come and join us for a fun dinner!

School Council Update:

The Forest Hill School Council is thrilled to be able to host events at the school once again.

Please mark your calendars for the following events:

  1. Camp and Vendor Fair: Saturday February 11th, 10am-2pm.
Local camps will be available in the school gym with information about registration.
Local artisans will also have items available for sale.
We are looking for parents/caregivers/family members to help out with this event.
Please reach out if you are interested in helping out (you do not need to be a current member of the school council or parent volunteer).

We are looking for folks to help with planning before the event, as well as helpers on Friday Feb 10th and Saturday February 11th.

Please contact Bethany at [email protected] by January 13th to express your interest.

  2. Dance-a-thon: Save the date-- Friday March 31st. More information to follow.

We are always looking for new (non-voting) members to join our meetings and help with school events. For more information, contact Tracy at  [email protected].

SURVEY: In late January, grade 4-8 students will be asked to complete a survey in class to collect more recent data on school climate.  This will help us to adjust our school action plan to support the needs of students.
