The past couple of weeks have been very busy. Educators have been engaging in professional learning around math, phonemic and phonological awareness with a program from the University of Florida and using diverse texts in literacy blocks. Thank you to our school council for funding the purchase of some of these resources for phonological awareness in addition to what is provided by the Board. We would also like to thank school council for the purchase of some new gym equipment and funding for our school teams to participate in various tournaments - these funds came from our very successful basket fundraiser.
After listening to input from students, staff and school council, in January our Monday food order will change to subs. The other days will remain the same. Funds raised from our lunch program go to support a snack program that is accessed by many students in the school as well as the purchase of resources for classrooms and the library. Thank you for your continued support!
